Informal Social Gatherings
We hold monthly informal social gatherings, in a corner of the bar at the Globe Pub, Rainsford Road, Chelmsford CM1 2QJ (opposite the Esso garage) [link https://www.theglobechelmsford.co.uk/index ]. From the main entrance to the pub, turn right and you should find us!
There is no admission charge or need to book and non-members are welcome, but the pub will expect you to buy a drink or two. Food is also available – check on serving times when you arrive. It is part of Hive pubs by Greene King.
The pub has its own car park, but you must register your car at the terminal on the bar on arrival, otherwise a penalty charge will apply.
Meetings start at 1400, but the organiser will be there from 1300 onwards and lunch can be bought in the pub.

Monthly Social Meetings in Chelmsford
We hold monthly informal social gatherings in a relaxed setting where members and visitors can chat, exchange information, and enjoy a drink or meal. These meetings are informal and have no set agenda.

Time
Meetings start at 14:00, with the organiser usually present from 13:00. Lunch and refreshments are available from the pub.
Parking
The pub has its own car park, but vehicles must be registered at the terminal on the bar on arrival to avoid a penalty charge.
There is no admission charge and non-members are welcome, although the pub expects attendees to purchase a drink or food.

We hold bi-monthly Saturday afternoon meetings in Chelmsford, joint with the Omnibus Society Eastern & Southern Branch. The venue is the Quaker Meeting House, Rainsford Road, Chelmsford. About 5-10 minutes walk from Chelmsford bus and rail stations. Venue details here.
Very limited parking on site, but other car parks are nearby.
