Join the Essex Bus Enthusiasts Group
Membership is open to anyone who is interested in bus and coach operations and operators in Essex. You do not need to live in Essex!
Members receive the following benefits:
- Monthly magazine – Essex Bus Magazine

- Monthly meetings in Chelmsford
Membership Options
Choose How You Receive the Magazine
There are two types of membership – for printed copies sent by post, or for pdf copies sent by e-mail.
Printed Copy Subscription
- Printed magazine sent by post
- £30 per year (2026)
Membership runs to December 31 each year; new members can join at any time during the year and if desired can backdate their membership (subject to availability of back copies of Essex Bus Magazine – if any are no longer in stock, we will e-mail you pdf versions instead). Alternatively, you can pay a pro-rata rate to start during the year. (Overseas postal rates available on request).
Electronic-only Membership
- PDF magazine sent by email
- £21 per year (2026)
We also offer an electronic only subscription, you will receive a pdf copy of the magazine by e-mail but no printed copies.

E-mail applications are welcomed, with payment by bank transfer. Contact the Membership Secretary if you wish to use this payment method.
The Group operates as a “not for profit” organisation. The Group and its members are governed by some simple rules set out here.

How the Group Is Run
The Group is governed by a simple constitution and operates as a not-for-profit organisation. A copy of the constitution is available to download.

- Under-18s may subscribe to the magazine but are not members
